GHD in the US East Environmental group seeks a Senior Environmental Engineer to lead contamination assessment and remediation for complex sites. You will guide investigation, design, and implementation of remedies while providing trusted technical guidance to clients, project teams, and regulators.

You will mentor engineers, review feasibility studies, remedial action plans, design calculations, and cost estimates, and apply remedial technologies across media.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or related engineering field.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain licensure in time.
• 15+ years of environmental consulting experience with RI/Feasibility/Remedial design.

Responsabilités

• Lead multidisciplinary remedial investigation and remediation projects from CSM through remedy selection, design, construction, operation, optimization and closure.
• Develop and review feasibility studies, remedial action plans, design calculations, drawings and cost estimates.
• Evaluate remedial technologies for soil, groundwater, soil vapour and other media.
• Provide engineering oversight during construction, startup, performance monitoring and O&M.
• Develop cost-effective engineering solutions meeting client objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Lead proposals, scopes, schedules, budgets and client communications; mentor engineers and collaborate with scientists and contractors.
