Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Environmental Due Diligence Professional (Environmental Scientist, Environmental Engineer, or EHS area disciplines) to support Phase I ESAs and related EDD projects across the United States. This role can sit anywhere within the continental U.S.

and requires travel up to 25%. You will lead scope development, proposals, and senior review of deliverables, mentor junior staff, and coordinate Phase I ESA projects and Phase II planning in alignment with ASTM E1527-21

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or closely related field.
• 7–10 years’ experience conducting Phase I ESAs, with project and portfolio management.
• Knowledge of CERCLA, SARA, RCRA, CAA, CWA, EPCRA, SPCC and storage tank regs.
• Strong technical writing skills and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Support, coordinate, and manage Phase I ESAs and related projects.
• Write and review Phase I ESA deliverables and reports.
• Develop scopes of work, proposals, and client-facing documents.
• Mentor junior staff and coordinate multi-site EDD projects.
• Review regulatory permits and assess environmental compliance status.
