Job summary

Arcadis seeks a Senior Environmental Due Diligence (EDD) Professional to lead Phase I ESAs and related EDD projects. The role supports mergers, acquisitions, and portfolio work for clients across the continental U.S.

Travel up to 25% is required, with mentoring of junior staff and senior technical review responsibilities. You will work within Arcadis’ EDD Community of Practice, applying ASTM E1527-21 standards and coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality environmental

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or closely related field.
• 7-10 years' Phase I ESA experience with project and portfolio management.
• Knowledge of federal/state environmental regulations (CERCLA, SARA, RCRA, CAA, CWA, EPCRA, SPCC).
• Strong technical writing and driving license.

Responsibilities

• Support Phase I ESAs and related projects within Arcadis’ EDD CoP; coordinate scopes of work and proposals.
• Write and senior-review Phase I ESAs; manage multi-site EDD projects and portfolio work.
• Travel up to 25% for site visits and client meetings; mentor junior staff.
• Review regulatory permits and evaluate environmental/health and safety compliance status.
