Appian in McLean, VA seeks a Senior Manager, Solutions Consulting to lead a 3–6 person pre-sales team, shaping technical demonstrations and driving revenue velocity in the enterprise market.

You will oversee scoping, design, and execution of tailored presentations and POC/POV frameworks for strategic accounts, and collaborate with sales leadership on qualification and territory plans. Travel as needed up to 70% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (equivalent experience not accepted)
• 7+ years in solutions consulting, pre-sales engineering, or technical architecture in enterprise software
• 3+ years leading technical teams
• Experience with formal sales incentive plans tied to revenue or bookings

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop a high-performing team of 3–6 pre-sales engineers
• Oversee scoping, design, and execution of tailored technical sales presentations, POC/POV frameworks
• Partner with Account Executives on opportunity qualification and territory strategy
• Architect integration strategies and accelerators for complex enterprise sales
• Influence product direction by feeding field patterns to product teams
• Evangelize platform at executive briefings and events
