Job summary

Appian Corporation in Japan is seeking a Senior Solutions Consultant IV to drive the technology evaluation stage and serve as the primary technical advisor and product advocate for Appian.

You will architect bespoke Proofs of Concepts that address Fortune 500 challenges, collaborate with C-level executives, mentor junior team members, and contribute to the Enterprise-Grade Orchestration ecosystem while shaping the product roadmap.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field.
5+ years of enterprise solutions consultative or pre-sales experience.
Strong fluency in REST APIs, SQL, databases, and cloud environments.
Experience delivering POCs/POVs and complex demos for enterprise customers.
Willingness to travel 30–70% as required.

Responsibilities

Lead Technical Strategy with Account Executives to reach regional sales goals.
Architect high-quality custom technical POCs and POVs for enterprise customers.
Present architectures to C-level audiences and position Appian’s capabilities.
Drive technical responses for RFPs/RFIs and client proposals.
Influence Product Management with real-world customer requirements.
Mentor junior Solutions Consultants and help scale best practices.
