Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior Professional Services Engineer based in Japan to lead installation, migration, and advisory engagements in a fully remote setup. You will drive reference architectures, IaC practices, and customer success across multiple cloud providers.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with product and engineering teams, and manage several customer engagements concurrently, delivering reliable, secure workflows in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with infrastructure as code and configuration as code tools.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and lead engineers.
• Experience delivering customer-facing installation, migration, and advisory engagements across the platform.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Must be located in Japan with full working rights in Japan.

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional services engagements including installation, migration, training, and advisory services across the company capabilities.
• Plan and execute deployments from single-node Omnibus installations to large reference architectures using IaC and configurations as code.
• Lead migrations from multiple source systems to the company SaaS or self-managed deployments.
• Partner with Engagement Managers to improve delivery consistency and reduce friction.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor translating goals into practical implementation plans.
• Interface with product and engineering teams to unblock customer outcomes and share feedback.
• Mentor Associate and Intermediate Engineers to increase autonomy.
• Manage multiple customer engagements as primary engineer or lead.
