Job summary

Acquia is seeking a Lead Solutions Engineer to drive technical engagements with strategic accounts in Japan, partnering with Account Executives and channel / SI partners to identify, qualify, and win opportunities across Japan. You will lead technical discovery and craft tailored demonstrations that map Acquia’s DXP portfolio to each client’s digital roadmap.

The role requires translating technical value into clear business outcomes, serving as a trusted advisor to both technical and business

Qualifications

• Experience in a Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or pre-sales role.
• Ability to understand a customer’s business and map to Acquia DXP solutions.
• Strong presentation and PoC design skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery and design of DXP solutions tailored to customer context.
• Design and execute PoCs that illustrate business value of Acquia platform.
• Support cross-sell and new-logo opportunities with account teams and partners.
• Enable partners at the pre-sales layer for pitches and events.
• Represent Acquia at industry events, webinars, and community gatherings in Japan.
