Job summary

Sentara Health in Virginia Beach is seeking an Enterprise Resilience professional to strengthen the organization’s ability to anticipate, withstand, respond to, recover from, and adapt to disruptions across cyber, technology, and operations.

You will partner across Cyber Security, IT, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, Emergency Management, and vendor management to implement governance, standards, and playbooks.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in IT program/project management.
• 5+ years in enterprise resilience, cyber resilience, disaster recovery, or business continuity.
• Experience in healthcare or a highly regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify critical services and map people, processes, tech, data, and third parties.
• Define impact tolerances and recovery objectives with owners.
• Plan and document resilience assessments and recovery tests.
• Track findings, risks, owners, due dates, and actions to closure.
• Enhance backup/recovery capabilities using Rubrik, Azure, SQL, and Veeam.
• Support recovery exercises and secure restoration workflows.
• Develop dashboards and executive-ready resilience reporting.
• Create standards and repeatable processes to reduce manual work.
• Promote resilience awareness across stakeholders.
