Job summary

Aurigo Software Technologies in Austin, Texas, is seeking a seasoned Project Manager/Engagement Manager to lead enterprise implementations end-to-end—from planning through go-live and adoption, with accountability for outcomes and client success.

You will serve as a senior client liaison, build trusted relationships with sponsors and stakeholders, and collaborate across delivery, support, and sales to drive renewals, expansion, and referenceability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive project/program management experience implementing enterprise systems with budgets over $3M.
• 10+ years in IT consulting focused on enterprise applications, including engagement or account management.
• Demonstrated executive presence—comfortable leading conversations with executive leadership and senior officials.
• Experience running engagement management or account leadership alongside or in place of direct delivery.
• Track record of managing multiple concurrent projects or a portfolio of client engagements; mentoring project managers.
• Action-oriented, calm under pressure, and a track record of delivering quality.
• Experience managing remote and onsite teams; strong written and verbal communication for executive audiences.
• Experience as the primary customer relationship owner throughout the full software engagement lifecycle.
• Experience implementing SaaS software, leading SMEs, PMs, and client leadership through adoption.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, or Business; MBA a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise implementations, owning outcomes end-to-end—from planning through go-live and adoption.
• Serve as the senior leadership contact for clients, building trusted relationships with sponsors and stakeholders to drive renewals and expansion.
• Step into an Engagement Manager role as needed—collaborating to ensure account health, commercial strategy, and cross-project alignment.
• Represent Aurigo in steering committees, executive reviews, and escalations, balancing profitability with customer outcomes.
• Escalate risks and partner across delivery, support, and sales as one team to own the customer relationship.
• Drive the customer to leverage platform configuration over customization, defending decisions with a clear business case.
• Identify and support expansion and renewal opportunities; partner with sales on SOWs and commercial strategy.
• Negotiate change orders and own risk management for high-visibility engagements.
• Provide concise status reporting to leadership and client executives, tailored to each audience.
• Lead project teams distributed across locations, ensuring milestones and risks are visible and current.
• Coach and mentor Senior Project Managers and Project Managers.
