Job summary

Cribl is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to deliver enterprise-level technical support for Cribl Stream and related products. You will assist customers and partners through Slack, email, and online meetings, diagnosing complex telemetry data challenges and offering fast, reliable solutions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years supporting enterprise environments, deep Linux/AWS/Azure networking know-how, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
5+ years’ experience supporting enterprise customers or working hands-on with distributed systems.
Excellent client-facing and written/verbal communication skills.
Expert-level troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Experience with Linux, AWS, Azure, and Networking.

Responsibilities

Develop deep technical understanding of Cribl Stream and other products.
Provide enterprise-level technical support across channels (Slack, email, meetings).
Research, diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve customer issues.
Follow procedures for reproducibility and escalation of unresolved issues.
Give prompt, accurate feedback, set expectations, and close issues.
Create knowledge base notes and contribute to real-time forums.
