Cribl is hiring a Technical Support Engineer to deliver enterprise-level support for our distributed observability platform. You will diagnose complex issues, collaborate with customers across channels, and help build knowledge resources.

The role demands strong Linux, cloud, and networking skills, with experience in Splunk/Elasticsearch tools a plus. This remote-first team expects clear communication and a passion for solving technical challenges at scale.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science or similar degree, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years’ experience supporting enterprise customers or working hands-on with distributed systems.
• Excellent client-facing and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop a deep technical understanding of Cribl Stream and other products.
• Provide extraordinary technical support to Enterprise customers via Slack, email and meetings.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve customer issues with structured reproduction and escalation.
• Follow procedures for reproducibility and escalation to internal teams.
• Provide prompt feedback, set expectations, and close all issues with proper documentation.
• Create knowledge base notes and participate in real-time forums for questions.
• Stand-by, on-call, or off-hours duties as needed.
