Job summary

Cohesity is seeking a Sr. Sales Engineer to support enterprise sales engagements and help customers adopt Cohesity’s modern data security and management platform.

You’ll partner with Account Executives to drive opportunities and deliver tailored technical solutions across security, data protection, and cloud technologies. This role emphasizes collaborative, high-impact technical execution, ownership of account-level technical strategy, and coordination with senior SEs and leadership to advance

Qualifications

• Experience in pre-sales Sales Engineering or Solutions Consulting for infrastructure, data protection, security, or cloud platforms in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with backup, recovery, data protection, storage, or cyber resilience across on-prem, hybrid, and cloud.
• Knowledge of data security concepts including ransomware resilience, immutable storage, encryption, and access controls.
• Experience supporting proofs of concept, evaluations, and technical decision processes.
• Ability to translate technical architecture into clear customer value and business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Drive new customer and expansion opportunities by articulating Cohesity’s Data Cloud portfolio to business and technical audiences.
• Provide expert, tailored technical support throughout the sales cycle, including discovery, design, demos, and proofs of concept.
• Support technical strategy for enterprise opportunities in partnership with the Account Executive and contribute to deal progression.
• Enable customers to integrate Cohesity products into existing production environments, responding to technical requests promptly.
• Lead and support technical engagements such as product demonstrations, workshops, white papers, proposals, and evaluations.
• Identify customer requirements and risk areas, shaping proofs of concept that highlight Cohesity’s value.
• Assist with competitive displacement conversations by understanding customer environments and positioning Cohesity.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Support to relay feedback and drive product improvements.
• Provide post-sales technical assistance to ensure successful outcomes and customer satisfaction.
