Job summary

Cohesity is seeking a driven Sr. Sales Engineer to support enterprise sales engagements and help customers adopt Cohesitys modern data security and management platform.

As a Sr Sales Engineer, you will partner closely with Account Executives to drive new customer opportunities and expansions by delivering tailored technical solutions. You will support opportunity execution end-to-end, engage stakeholders, and develop credibility as a trusted technical advisor to customers and partners.

Qualifications

• Experience in pre-sales engineering or solutions consulting for infra, data protection, security, or cloud.
• Hands-on with backup, recovery, data protection, storage, or cyber resilience tech across environments.
• Knowledge of data security concepts like ransomware resilience and encryption.

Responsibilities

• Drive new customer and expansion opportunities by presenting Cohesity’s data cloud portfolio to business and technical audiences.
• Provide expert technical support through the sales cycle: discovery, design, demos, and proofs of concept.
• Collaborate with Account Executives to shape deal strategy and drive win probabilities.
• Help customers integrate Cohesity products into on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Lead technical engagements: product demos, workshops, proposals, and evaluations.
• Identify requirements and risks to inform proofs of concept that show Cohesity value.
• Assist with competitive displacement by understanding customer environments and positioning Cohesity.
• Coordinate with Product, Engineering, and Support to relay customer feedback for improvements.
• Provide post-sales technical support to ensure successful outcomes.
