Job summary

Cohesity is seeking a Sr. Sales Engineer to support enterprise sales engagements and help customers adopt Cohesity’s data security and management platform. You will partner with Account Executives to drive opportunities, deliver tailored technical solutions, and develop credibility as a trusted advisor.

The role emphasizes strong technical execution, collaboration across teams, and ownership of account‑level technical strategy, with guidance from senior SEs and leadership. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS/Engineering/Math or equivalent.
• Experience in pre-sales/Solutions Consulting for enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with backup, recovery, data protection or cyber resilience tech.
• Ability to translate architecture into business value and outcomes.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Drive new customer opportunities with Account Executives for expansion.
• Provide expert technical support across the sales cycle, including demos and POCs.
• Develop technical strategy for enterprise opportunities in collaboration with sales.
• Lead product demonstrations, workshops, proposals and evaluations.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering and Support to relay feedback.
• Assist with competitive displacement and positioning.
