Job summary

Bain & Company is seeking a seasoned data architecture leader to guide enterprise data strategies and architecture across large-scale transformation programs in a US-based role. You will influence senior stakeholders, define governance models, and lead teams to deliver scalable, secure data platforms across multi-cloud environments.

The role emphasizes AI enablement, data governance, and collaboration with Bain’s cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes and technology modernization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data architecture and technology leadership.
• Experience shaping enterprise data strategies, target architectures and roadmaps.
• Proven track record leading large, multi-year data transformation programs.
• Hands-on data engineering, feature engineering, MLOps enablement for AI.
• Experience with modern data stacks and cloud data services (Snowflake, Databricks, AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Strong governance, metadata, data quality, and data privacy knowledge.
• Strong client leadership, pre-sales, and business development experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-impact data architecture workstreams within large-scale programs.
• Set direction and lead internal/external teams across multi-year engagements.
• Guide Bain teams in executing roadmaps, managing risks and governance.
• Ensure architectures evolve through MVP delivery while ensuring security and scalability.
• Partner with Bain teams to integrate data architecture with cloud and AI transformations.
• Mentor teams of architects and consultants to deliver scalable data platforms.
