Bain & Company, Inc. seeks a Vice President, Enterprise Data Architecture to lead the vision, strategy, and results of the firm’s data architecture. You will own the target-state architecture, set standards, and partner with governance, security, and legal to ensure governance and security are embedded across platforms.

You will guide senior leaders, drive data and AI initiatives, and lead the Data Modeling Center of Excellence, building leadership and alliances across regions and functions.

Qualifikationen

• 10-15+ years of enterprise data architecture experience.
• Roadmap and governance for data platforms.
• Experience leading data modeling and architecture teams.
• Experience directing distributed engineering teams and managing external partners.
• Strong communication with senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Hybrid: in-office presence 1 day per week at Bain home office.

Aufgaben

• Set the vision and multi-year roadmap for the firm’s enterprise data architecture, platforms, and capabilities.
• Own the target-state data architecture and the architecture standards and technology direction.
• Make major architecture and platform decisions balancing speed, cost, risk, and long-term flexibility.
• Provide senior technical leadership to internal teams and external partners.
• Partner with governance, security, privacy, and legal to embed data requirements into architecture.
• Lead the Data Modeling Center of Excellence and promote standards across domains.
• Coach and develop senior technical leaders and build succession within the function.
• Align priorities with other functions and drive adoption of enterprise standards.
