Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager for Enterprise Support focused on Department of Defense to lead a team of Technical Account Managers, drive risk mitigation, and accelerate cloud migration for government customers.

In this role you will partner with AWS sales and other teams to craft scalable architectures, deliver measurable outcomes, and manage executive relationships. US citizenship and Top Secret clearance are required to success in this position.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of management of technical, enterprise customer facing resources or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
• 7+ years of design/implementation/operations/consulting with distributed applications experience
• US government security clearance of top secret or above
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field of study or 10+ years of related work experience
• Familiarity with low‑latency, high‑throughput workloads

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Technical Account Managers to mitigate customer risks, improve architectural resiliency, and accelerate cloud migration and modernization initiatives
• Manage the Enterprise Support experience for assigned customers, conducting periodic reviews of their architectural and operational performance on AWS and presenting actionable insights
• Build deep relationships with customers to become a trusted advisor for their most critical workloads that support their digital transformation and journey to the cloud
• Drive the creation and implementation of scalable solutions that incorporate AWS offerings into customer architectures across your vertical
• Develop and execute customer engagement strategies that accelerate adoption of AWS services while tracking interactions, analyzing feedback, and improving satisfaction and loyalty
