Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 6 years of sales experience or equivalent.
• Master's degree with 4 years experience or PhD with 1 year experience or 10 years without a degree.
• Self-source pipeline with outbound focus and ownership of outbound strategy.
• Experience selling cloud, IT infrastructure, managed or professional services.
• Experience selling through direct and indirect partner networks.
• Willingness to travel 25–50% for meetings and events.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end new business development in assigned accounts and territory.
• Build a high-velocity outbound engine and self-generate pipeline.
• Engage CIO, CTO, CISO, CFO and VP level stakeholders across mid-market and enterprise accounts.
• Manage a multi-threaded enterprise funnel with a 5 to 1 pipeline to quota ratio.
• Position RapidScale's cloud and advisory services with AWS, Azure, VMware, and partner ecosystems.
• Lead discovery, value framing, and business-case development for execs.
• Collaborate with Professional Services and Marketing to ensure smooth onboarding and long-term success.
• Stay current on cloud, security, and AI trends to differentiate offerings.
