Job summary

Jackson Lewis P.C. is seeking an Applications Engineer to implement, administer, and support enterprise applications used by legal professionals.

You will own application reliability, security, and lifecycle management while aligning with legal workflows to deliver secure, efficient solutions. The role requires strong technical ownership, proactive monitoring, automation, and collaboration with IT, security, and vendor teams to improve user experience and reliability for a large enterprise law

Qualifications

5+ years of experience administering and supporting enterprise applications.
Experience installing, configuring, monitoring, upgrading, and patching enterprise apps.
Experience with SaaS and cloud-based enterprise apps.
Experience with identity technologies: SSO, SAML, OAuth, Entra ID/Azure AD, MFA, certificates, service accounts.
Experience with REST APIs and integrations.
Designing or supporting highly available apps with load balancing, redundancy, failover, and DR.
Strong application security knowledge and least-privilege access.

Responsibilities

Serve as the technical owner for assigned enterprise and legal apps.
Configure, administer, and support applications throughout their lifecycle.
Support platforms like NetDocuments, Litera, Intapp, and Microsoft 365.
Plan, test, deploy, and support implementations, upgrades, patches, and integrations.
Develop automation to streamline administration, deployment, and monitoring.
Monitor availability, performance, capacity, and scheduled processes.
Troubleshoot complex issues and coordinate with teams/vendors to resolve incidents.
Collaborate with Information Security on access controls and vulnerability remediation.
Maintain technical docs, runbooks, and architecture diagrams.
Manage vendor relationships and product roadmaps.
Provide guidance to Practice Technology and IT teams.
