Job summary

Jackson Lewis P.C. is seeking an Applications Engineer to implement, administer, integrate, and support enterprise applications across the firm. The role emphasizes reliability, security, and lifecycle management for legal tech platforms and cloud-based services.

You will act as the technical owner, improving performance through automation and proactive monitoring, while collaborating with attorneys, IT, and vendors to resolve complex issues.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience administering and supporting enterprise applications.
• Experience supporting SaaS and cloud-based enterprise applications.
• Experience with identity and authentication technologies (SSO, SAML, OAuth, Entra ID/Azure AD, MFA).
• Experience with REST APIs, web services, or other integration technologies.
• Proven experience designing highly available apps (load balancing, DR, BC).
• Strong understanding of application security and least- privilege access.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills across complex systems.
• Ability to own issues and drive improvements through automation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical owner and expert for assigned enterprise apps.
• Configure, administer, maintain, and support enterprise apps.
• Support legal tech platforms (NetDocuments, Litera, Intapp, M365 add-ins).
• Plan, test, deploy, and support implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
• Develop automation for administration, deployment, monitoring, and support.
• Monitor availability, performance, capacity, and integrations.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and coordinate with teams/vendors.
• Collaborate with Information Security for security controls and remediation.
• Maintain docs, runbooks, and configuration standards.
• Manage vendor relationships and product roadmaps.
• Provide guidance to Practice Technology and IT teams.
• Participate in after-hours maintenance when required.
