Job summary

Jackson Lewis P.C. is seeking an Applications Engineer to own, administer, and support enterprise applications used by attorneys and staff, focusing on reliability, security, and lifecycle management.

This role blends technical ownership with knowledge of legal workflows to deliver secure, efficient solutions, automate processes, and improve user experience across NetDocuments, Litera, Intapp, and Microsoft 365.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience administering and supporting enterprise applications.
• Experience with SaaS/cloud-based enterprise apps.
• Experience with identity and authentication technologies (SSO, SAML, OAuth, Entra ID/Azure AD, MFA).
• Experience with REST APIs and integrations.
• Strong security, reliability, and monitoring expertise.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical owner for assigned enterprise and legal applications.
• Configure, administer, maintain, and support enterprise apps through their lifecycle.
• Support SaaS and cloud-based platforms like NetDocuments, Litera, Intapp, and Microsoft 365.
• Plan, test, deploy, and support upgrades, patches, integrations, and new functionality.
• Develop automation for administration, deployment, monitoring, and reporting.
• Monitor availability, performance, capacity, and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Collaborate with Information Security on access controls and vulnerability remediation.
• Maintain technical documentation and runbooks.
• Manage vendor relationships and product roadmaps.
• Provide guidance to Practice Technology and IT teams.
• Participate in after-hours maintenance as needed.
