Job summary

Jackson Lewis P.C. is seeking an Applications Engineer to implement, administer, and support enterprise applications across the firm.

You will be the technical owner for assigned apps, ensuring reliability, security, and lifecycle management, while aligning with legal workflows and business needs. Responsibilities include planning deployments, automating administration, monitoring availability, and collaborating with Information Security and vendor teams.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience administering and supporting enterprise applications.
Experience installing, configuring, monitoring, troubleshooting, upgrading, and patching enterprise apps.
Experience with SaaS and cloud-based enterprise applications.
Experience with identity and authentication technologies (SSO, SAML, OAuth, Entra ID/Azure AD, MFA, certificates).
Experience with REST APIs, web services or app integrations.
Experience designing highly available apps (load balancing, failover, DR).
Strong understanding of application security (RBAC, least-privilege, vulnerability remediation).
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills across multiple systems.
Ability to own technical issues and drive them to completion, with automation.
Strong written and verbal communication with diverse teams.
Strong organizational skills in a large enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

Serve as technical owner and expert for assigned enterprise and legal applications.
Configure, maintain, and support enterprise apps throughout their lifecycle.
Support platforms like NetDocuments, Litera, Intapp, MS 365 add-ins, cloud and on-prem apps.
Plan, test, deploy, and support implementations, upgrades, patches, and integrations.
Develop automation to streamline administration, deployment, monitoring, and reporting.
Proactively monitor availability, performance, capacity, integrations, and processes.
Troubleshoot complex issues and coordinate with teams/vendors to resolve incidents.
Work with Information Security on access controls and vulnerability remediation.
Maintain technical documentation and runbooks.
Manage vendor relationships and product roadmaps for supported tech.
Provide guidance to Practice Technology and IT teams.
Participate in after-hours maintenance and escalation support.
