Job summary

Jackson Lewis P.C. seeks an Applications Engineer to implement, administer, and support enterprise applications used by attorneys and professionals across the firm.

You will ensure reliability, security, and lifecycle management while driving automation and improved user experiences. As a technical owner, you will monitor performance, plan deployments, and collaborate with Information Security, vendors, and internal teams to resolve complex issues.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience administering and supporting enterprise applications.
• Experience installing, configuring, monitoring, troubleshooting, upgrading, and patching enterprise apps.
• Experience with SaaS and cloud-based enterprise apps.
• Experience with identity/auth technologies (SSO, SAML, OAuth, Entra ID/Azure AD, MFA).
• Experience with REST APIs and integrations.
• Knowledge of highly available architectures (load balancers, DR, failover).
• Strong security, least-privilege, and vulnerability remediation principles.
• Proven ability to own issues and drive automation improvements.
• Strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong organizational skills in a large enterprise context.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical owner for assigned enterprise and legal apps.
• Configure, administer, maintain, and support enterprise apps throughout their lifecycle.
• Support legal tech platforms including NetDocuments, Litera, Intapp, and Microsoft 365 add-ins.
• Plan, test, deploy, and support implementations, upgrades, patches, and integrations.
• Develop automation to streamline administration, deployment, monitoring, and support.
• Monitor availability, performance, capacity, and integrations; resolve issues proactively.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and coordinate with vendors and internal teams.
• Work with Information Security on access controls and vulnerability remediation.
• Maintain technical docs, runbooks, and configuration standards.
• Engage vendors and service providers for escalations and roadmap discussions.
• Provide guidance and share knowledge with Practice Technology and IT teams.
• Participate in after-hours maintenance and escalations as needed.
