Job summary

Jackson Lewis P.C. is seeking an Applications Engineer to implement, administer, integrate, and support enterprise applications used by attorneys and legal professionals. The role focuses on application reliability, security, and lifecycle management to deliver secure, efficient solutions and improve user experience.

The engineer will own technical issues, drive automation, monitor performance, and collaborate with security teams and vendors to ensure robust operations across the firm.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of enterprise applications administration and support.
• Experience with SaaS and cloud-based enterprise apps.
• Experience with identity/authentication tech (SSO, SAML, OAuth, Entra ID/Azure AD, MFA, certs).
• Experience with REST APIs and application integrations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical owner for assigned enterprise and legal apps.
• Configure, administer, maintain, and support apps throughout their lifecycle.
• Plan, test, deploy, and support implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
• Develop automation for administration, deployment, monitoring, and reporting.
• Monitor availability, performance, capacity, integrations, and runbooks.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and coordinate with teams/vendors.
• Collaborate with Information Security on controls and remediation.
• Maintain technical documentation and runbooks.
• Manage vendor relationships and product roadmaps.
• Provide guidance to Practice Tech/IT teams.
• Participate in after-hours maintenance when required.
