Job summary

Databricks in Seattle or the San Francisco Bay Area seeks an experienced pre-sales professional to shape the technical strategy for our largest accounts. You will work with the Enterprise Account Executive to drive value selling and lead ML & AI adoption across customers.

You will be the main technical voice inside accounts, orchestrate proofs of concept, mentor team members, and align technical initiatives with Databricks solutions to accelerate transformation.

Qualifications

• Experience leading virtual teams within large, global accounts.
• Proven track record selling to C-level executives and influencing decision-makers.
• Strong background in big data, data science and cloud technologies.
• Hands-on production programming in Python, R, Scala or Java.
• Databricks certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main technical voice for Databricks across multiple clients.
• Lead customers on a transformational journey to adopt Databricks.
• Define and drive the technical strategy within each account.
• Mentor peers and build champions inside accounts.
• Align technical initiatives with Databricks solutions.
• Collaborate with AE and cross-functional teams to close deals.
• Provide guidance on proofs-of-concept and product demonstrations.
