Job summary

GitLab is seeking a Major Account Executive for the FINS Enterprise team to drive deals with large, regulated enterprises on our AI-powered DevSecOps platform. You will manage complex sales motions, build durable pipelines, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver customer value.

This is a remote-global role; travel may be required. GitLab emphasizes collaboration, transparency, and a consultative approach across regions and teams.

Qualifications

• Experience driving complex B2B software sales cycles with large enterprises.
• Ability to travel if needed per role requirements.
• Preferred experience with Git, software development tools, application lifecycle management, or security tools.

Responsibilities

• Drive the full sales cycle in large, complex enterprises, including prospecting, qualifying, developing, and closing opportunities.
• Provide strong account leadership in both pre- and post-sales to ensure customers realize value from GitLab’s platform.
• Coordinate with Solutions Architects, Customer Success, Support, and partners to design and execute account strategies.
