Job summary

GitLab is seeking a Major Account Executive for the FINS Enterprise team. You will focus on large, regulated enterprise customers and guide them through complex DevSecOps transformations while acting as a trusted, long‑term partner.

As part of a distributed, all‑remote team, you’ll drive the enterprise pipeline, create repeatable sales motions, and lead adoption and expansion initiatives across CI/CD, security, and infrastructure modernization.

Qualifications

• Experience driving complex B2B software sales cycles with large enterprises.
• Experience with DevSecOps, software development tools, or related SaaS solutions.
• Ability to lead multi‑stakeholder sales motions and build long‑term partnerships.
• Strong account leadership across pre‑ and post‑sales with cross‑functional teams.
• Willingness to travel as needed per policy.

Responsibilities

• Drive the full sales cycle in large, complex enterprises, including prospecting, qualifying, developing, and closing opportunities across assigned accounts.
• Develop and execute structured account plans based on customer needs, stakeholder alignment, and multi‑threaded engagement across technical and business teams.
• Provide compelling proposals, quotes, and presentations linking GitLab solutions to business objectives.
• Prepare and deliver accurate activity and forecast reports; contribute to wins/losses analyses and knowledge sharing.
• Act as the voice of the customer to feedback product ideas and drive adoption and expansion.
