Nava Public Benefit Corp. seeks a Software Engineering Manager to lead career growth of direct reports, contribute technically, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver cloud-native solutions that support Nava’s mission and public benefit focus.

You will guide architecture, roadmaps, and delivery while staying hands-on as a technical contributor, ensuring quality and timely delivery across government-facing projects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in an agile, multidisciplinary team environment, preferably designing and building cloud-based solutions.
• 1+ years of experience as a People Manager.
• Experience designing and implementing production-grade, cloud-native microservices and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.

Responsibilities

• Writing code and performing code reviews.
• Writing and reviewing technical specifications.
• Guiding the engineering team on planning, estimation, prioritization, and technical debt.
• Review architecture and designs from other teams.
• Designing technical roadmaps and enforcing architecture.
• Maintaining production systems and on-call duties.
