Nava Public Benefit Corp. is seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to mentor engineers and contribute as a technical leader.

You will guide cross-functional teams to design, build, and deliver cloud-native solutions for government clients, balancing delivery with Nava’s public-benefit mission. You will drive planning, risk management, and collaboration with product teams, while ensuring high-quality software through code reviews and architectural governance.

Qualifikationen

• At least 10 years in agile, multidisciplinary teams, preferably designing and building cloud platforms.
• 1+ years experience as a People Manager.
• Production-grade, cloud-native microservices and RESTful APIs using Java and containerized deployments.
• Experience with relational databases (Postgres) using JDBC and ORM mappers like Hibernate.
• DevOps experience, preferably Jenkins CI/CD.
• Proficiency with AWS cloud native services and data engineering.

Aufgaben

• Provide engineering management and technical leadership to cross-functional teams.
• Code reviews and engineering design reviews for quality and consistency.
• Plan, estimate, prioritize, and balance technical debt with project milestones.
• Review architecture/designs and enforce technical standards and roadmaps.
• Lead client-facing discussions and participate in growth initiatives.
