Nava Public Benefit Corp. is hiring a Software Engineering Manager to lead and grow a technical team while contributing as a hands-on coder or tech lead.

You will guide architecture, delivery, and client-facing initiatives for government-focused cloud systems. You will mentor engineers, review designs, and drive production-grade solutions with Java/Spring Boot on AWS, while partnering with product and government stakeholders to ensure scalable, secure outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in agile, multi-disciplinary teams, building cloud platforms.
• 1+ year as a people manager.
• Designing production-grade microservices with Java/Spring Boot on cloud.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, JDBC, and ORM (Hibernate).
• DevOps experience with Jenkins CI/CD.
• Experience using AWS cloud services and data engineering.
• Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking.
