Job summary

Nava Public Benefit Corp. is seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to mentor engineers and lead technical delivery.

You will act as a contributor or lead, guiding cross-functional teams to build secure, scalable cloud-based solutions for government clients, while upholding Nava’s mission and culture. You will own career growth, perform code reviews, review architectures, and collaborate with product, security, and client stakeholders.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years in agile multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience as a People Manager.
• Production-grade cloud-native microservices and RESTful APIs using Java/Spring Boot.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering management and technical leadership across teams.
• Write code and perform code reviews.
• Plan, estimate, prioritize features and manage debt.
• Review architectures and designs; design technical roadmaps.
• Support business development bids and client meetings.
• Ensure on-call operations and incident resolution.
