Job summary

Nava Public Benefit Corp. is seeking a seasoned Engineering Manager to lead and mentor a cross-functional engineering team in a remote-friendly environment.

You will design and guide cloud-native microservices, oversee RESTful APIs, and collaborate with product teams to align technical plans with client needs and contract milestones. The role emphasizes strategic decision-making, architecture reviews, and fostering a culture of inclusion, continuous learning, and high-quality software delivery

Qualifications

Over 10 years of experience in an agile, multidisciplinary team environment.
Experience designing and implementing production-grade cloud-native microservices and RESTful APIs.
Experience with AWS cloud native services and data engineering.
Ability to think strategically around trade-offs and long-term project goals.

Responsibilities

Writing code and performing code reviews.
Writing and reviewing technical specifications.
Guiding the engineering team on planning, estimation, prioritization, trade-offs, and technical debt balancing.
