Job summary

One Call is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead globally distributed teams delivering scalable, secure software aligned with our mission. You will drive technical direction, execution, and a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.

You will oversee 10-15 engineers across one to two product areas, partnering with Product, Design, and Business stakeholders to translate vision into actionable roadmaps and architectural strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of engineering leadership experience.
• Experience leading cloud-native teams (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience with remote-first and globally distributed teams.
• Track record delivering enterprise-grade software in regulated environments (SOC2, HIPAA).

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple engineering teams delivering scalable, secure software products.
• Drive Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and test automation adoption.
• Partner with Product, Design, Architecture to define roadmaps.
• Align teams with business outcomes and measure KPIs (velocity, quality, availability).
• Build a high-talent culture with hiring, coaching and performance management.
• Champion engineering excellence through code quality and observability.
• Manage offshore teams and ensure alignment with standards.
• Own operational health of applications including uptime and incident response (SOC2/HIPAA).
• Drive platform modernization and technical debt reduction.
• Collaborate across engineering, product, and business to resolve cross-functional challenges.
