Job summary

One Call is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead multiple remote teams in delivering scalable, secure software aligned with strategic goals. You will shape technical direction, drive execution, and foster a culture of innovation and ownership across global, distributed engineers.

You will oversee 10–15 engineers across product areas, collaborating with product managers, designers, and business stakeholders to translate vision into actionable roadmaps and modern engineering practices,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CS/Engineering.
5+ years of engineering leadership experience.
Experience leading teams in cloud-native environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Experience with remote-first and globally distributed teams.
Track record delivering enterprise-grade software in regulated environments (SOC2/HIPAA).

Responsibilities

Lead multiple engineering teams delivering scalable, secure software products.
Drive Agile, DevOps, CI/CD and test automation adoption.
Partner with Product and Design to define roadmaps with speed and quality.
Align teams with business outcomes and measure KPIs (velocity, quality, availability).
Build a high-impact culture with hiring, coaching, and career development.
Own platform modernization and technical debt reduction initiatives.
Manage offshore teams and ensure alignment with standards.
