Job summary

One Call seeks a Senior Engineering Manager to lead multiple engineering teams across globally distributed developers, delivering scalable, enterprise-grade software aligned with our business goals.

You will drive modern engineering practices (Agile, DevOps, CI/CD), partner with product and architecture, manage offshore teams, ensure uptime and regulatory compliance (SOC2, HIPAA), and mentor talent to foster ownership and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of engineering leadership experience across multiple teams and product areas.
• Experience leading teams in cloud-native environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with remote-first and globally distributed teams.
• Track record delivering enterprise-grade software in regulated environments (SOC2, HIPAA).

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple engineering teams delivering scalable, secure software products.
• Drive adoption of Agile, DevOps, CI/CD and test automation.
• Partner with Product, Design, and Architecture to define and deliver roadmaps with speed and quality.
• Ensure teams are aligned with business outcomes; measure KPIs like velocity and availability.
• Build a high-talent, accountable culture including hiring and performance management.
• Champion code quality, reviews, observability, and continuous improvement.
• Manage offshore teams, ensuring alignment with standards and delivery expectations.
• Own operational health of applications including uptime and incident response; ensure SOC2/HIPAA compliance.
• Drive platform modernization, reduce technical debt, and push automation.
• Collaborate across engineering, product, and business teams to resolve cross-functional challenges.
• Manage resource allocation and capacity planning.
