Job summary

One Call is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead multiple engineering teams in delivering scalable, secure software across global, distributed environments. You will set technical direction, drive execution, and foster innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement while aligning with business outcomes.

You will oversee 10–15 engineers across product areas, partner with product and design, and champion modern practices such as DevOps and cloud-native architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of engineering leadership experience.
• Proven experience leading teams in cloud-native environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with remote-first and globally distributed teams.
• Track record delivering enterprise-grade software in regulated environments (SOC2, HIPAA).

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple engineering teams delivering scalable software products.
• Drive adoption of Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and test automation.
• Partner with Product, Design, and Architecture to define roadmaps.
• Ensure teams align with business outcomes and measure KPIs.
• Hire, coach, and develop engineering talent at scale.
• Champion code quality, observability, and platform modernization.
• Manage offshore teams and ensure delivery alignment.
• Own operational health including uptime and incident response.
• Drive strategic initiatives like debt reduction and automation.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver integrated solutions.
