Job summary

Circle is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Risk and Compliance Engineering team, building and scaling the centralized onboarding and lifecycle platform that underpins Circle's risk management and regulatory compliance. You will drive architecture, oversee engineering execution, and mentor a high-performing, inclusive team across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

10+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years in people management.
Strong background in scalable distributed systems, APIs and backend platforms.
Experience guiding architectural decisions and delivering secure, reliable systems.
Proven ability to coach and grow senior engineers and staff.

Responsibilities

Lead Circle's centralized customer onboarding and lifecycle platform for risk/compliance.
Develop scalable onboarding automation from engagement to activation across products.
Shape a unified customer lifecycle platform for changes over time.
Build partner-facing APIs and SDKs for seamless onboarding in third-party apps.
Coach engineers, drive reliability, security, and operational excellence.
