Job summary
Circle is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager for the Risk and Compliance Engineering team. You will coach senior engineers, drive architectural decisions, and partner with Product, Risk, Compliance, Fraud, and Engineering to ensure secure, scalable solutions.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of software engineering experience.
- 3+ years of people management experience.
- Strong background in scalable distributed systems and backend platforms.
- Experience guiding architectural decisions and delivering reliable systems.
- Proven ability to coach senior engineers and drive cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow Circle's Risk and Compliance engineering team building onboarding and lifecycle platforms.
- Oversee architecture and implementation of scalable APIs, SDKs, and integrations for onboarding and compliance workflows.
- Drive automation, security, and operational excellence across products and jurisdictions.
- Collaborate with Product, Risk, Compliance, Fraud, and Engineering teams to enable secure customer experiences.
