Job summary

CLEAResult is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead a ten-to-fifteen engineer team and oversee projects across multiple gas and electric programs. The role focuses on delivering cost savings for end-users and reducing emissions in the Midwest region, with a strong emphasis on program leadership and client collaboration.

You will mentor engineers, manage workloads and budgets, and drive strategic planning and process improvements to enhance program delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and 10+ years in energy efficiency or sustainability consulting.
• 8+ years of people management experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel; VBA a plus.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Experience with building and system modeling software.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives delivering cost savings and emissions reductions across 85 programs.
• Oversee a team of 10–15 engineers across multiple levels.
• Direct updates to templates, tools, and procedures per client needs.
• Manage project delivery, status updates, and milestones with stakeholders.
• Grow engineering talent through mentorship and development.
• Develop scopes of work and budgets for business opportunities.
• Foster relationships with engineering leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Guide strategic planning and program improvements.
