CLEAResult is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead a team of 10–15 engineers across multiple programs in the Midwest, with a focus on Colorado and surrounding states. You will drive technical leadership, guide project execution, and mentor engineers while managing budgets and client relationships.

The role emphasizes strategic planning, program improvements, and collaboration with senior leadership to deliver cost savings and emissions reductions. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, civil or environmental engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in energy efficiency and/or sustainability consulting.
• Minimum of 8 years of people management experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills – VBA a plus.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, interpersonal, and written).
• High motivation to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrate Technical Leadership: provide expertise in audits, evaluations, HVAC, M&V, RCx, refrigeration, tool development or related areas.
• Direct updates to templates, tools, and procedures reflecting client requests and industry developments.
• Lead team engagement with evaluation contractors and utility clients.
• Guide team members in applying technical knowledge effectively.
• Ensure adherence to processes, procedures, and performance standards.
• Oversee team workload and project execution to deliver high-quality client projects on time.
• Mentor and grow engineering talent; foster continuous learning and career advancement.
• Manage financial and operational resources; monitor labor and expenses to stay close to plan.
