CLEAResult is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead initiatives that deliver cost savings to end‑users and reduce emissions across 85+ gas and electric programs in the Midwest, focusing on CO, IA, IL, IN, KS, MN, MO, WI. You will oversee a team of 10–15 engineers, from Energy Engineer I to V, including engineering leaders.

You will drive technical leadership, team mentorship, budget oversight, and strategic program enhancements, while collaborating with senior leadership to align client

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, civil or environmental engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in energy efficiency and/or sustainability consulting.
• 8+ years of people management experience.
• Proven leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with energy auditing, HVAC, M&V, RCx, or building systems is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; advanced Excel; VBA a plus.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical leadership across audits, evaluations, HVAC, M&V, RCx and related areas.
• Direct updates to templates, tools, and procedures per client needs.
• Lead engagement with evaluation contractors and utility clients.
• Guide team in applying technical knowledge effectively.
• Manage team workload for timely, high‑quality delivery.
• Mentor engineers and foster career growth.
• Oversee budgets and resources to meet forecasts.
• Develop engineering scopes of work and budgets.
• Build strategic relationships with engineering leaders and peers.
• Lead process improvements within the team.
• Present insights to clients and stakeholders.
• Provide ongoing feedback to leadership and staff.
• Travel up to 25% for client meetings and project support.
