Job summary

CLEAResult is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead a team of 10-15 engineers across multiple programs in the Midwest, with focus on Colorado, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri and Wisconsin. The role emphasizes cost savings for end-users and emissions reduction while delivering high-quality client projects.

You will oversee staffing, program design, and strategic planning, guiding engineers and collaborating with leadership to enhance program delivery and operational

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, civil or environmental engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in energy efficiency and/or sustainability consulting.
• 8+ years of people management experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills - VBA a plus.
• Exposure to building and system modeling software such as Energy Plus, eQuest, JMP, NEO, TraneTrace or similar.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate technical leadership across audits, evaluations, HVAC, M&V, RCx, refrigeration, and tool development.
• Oversee workload and ensure timely, high-quality project delivery.
• Mentor and grow engineering talent within the team.
• Manage budgets and resources to support project delivery.
• Develop scopes of work and budgets for business development opportunities.
• Foster strategic relationships with engineering leadership and clients.
