Nava Public Benefit Corp. is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to blend people leadership with hands-on technical contribution, guiding cross-functional teams to deliver cloud-native solutions.

You will mentor engineers, review architecture, design roadmaps, manage delivery, and collaborate with product and government stakeholders to broaden Nava’s client portfolio while maintaining high security and reliability.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in agile, multi-disciplinary teams for cloud platforms
• 1+ years as a People Manager
• Java, Spring Boot, and production-grade microservices
• Relational databases with PostgreSQL; JDBC and Hibernate ORM
• DevOps experience; Jenkins CI/CD
• AWS cloud-native services and data engineering
• Strong communication and collaboration with stakeholders
• Ability to work with government clients and cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering team with planning, estimation, prioritization, and balancing technical debt
• Review architecture, designs, and enforce technical roadmaps
• Write code and perform code reviews; draft technical specifications
• Collaborate with cross-functional product teams to mitigate risks
• Maintain production systems and handle on-call duties
• Engage with government stakeholders to grow project scopes
• Support business development efforts and client growth discussions
