Job summary

Salesforce seeks a senior engineering leader to manage software engineers in IT Applications and Operations, focusing on end-to-end support for Finance and HR systems. You will collaborate across IT, Finance and HR to scale and enhance Workday and related integrations, ensuring high-quality software delivery.

The role requires 12+ years in engineering leadership, strong people management, and experience with Workday/Finance transformations. Travel may be required as part of program delivery.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in software engineering & operations leading Finance/HR systems
• Strong engineering management principles and talent development
• Experience managing vendor partners and contractors
• Experience with HR/Finance domain processes (Hire to Retire, Time & Absence) and integration tech

Responsibilities

• Hire and retain top engineering talent.
• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers for successful project delivery.
• Define project scopes, timelines, and resource requirements with cross-functional teams.
• Drive adoption of best practices in software engineering, Agile, and CI/CD.
• Champion MuleSoft and Workday integrations to streamline processes.
• Oversee test automation strategies for integrations and Workday domains.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate progress.
• Occasional travel as needed.
