Job summary
Salesforce seeks a talented, self-directed, technical leader to manage software engineers on the Information Technology Application Engineering and Operations team. You will be responsible for end-to-end management of tools, systems, and applications that support the Salesforce Finance and HR (Employee Success) systems.
You will collaborate with many teams across Information Technology, Finance and Employee Success to scale and enhance systems for the unparalleled growth of Salesforce.
Qualifications
- 12+ years of software engineering & operations leadership.
- Proven delivery in Finance/HR systems like Workday/PeopleSoft/Oracle EBS.
- Strong engineering management with team leadership and performance management.
- Experience managing vendor partners and contractors.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Hire and retain top engineering talent.
- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, guiding delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define scope, timelines, and resources.
- Drive best practices in software engineering, including Agile, CI/CD.
- Champion MuleSoft and Workday integrations for Workday Financials or Workday HCM.
- Oversee test automation strategies for integrations and Workday systems.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate status updates.
- Occasional travel is involved.
