Job summary
Salesforce seeks a talented, self-directed engineering leader to manage software engineers on the IT Applications Engineering and Operations team. Qualifications
- 12+ years in software engineering & operations with leadership and delivery in Finance/HR systems
- Strong engineering management, team leadership, and talent development
- Experience managing vendor partners and contractors
- Experience with Workday HCM/Finance and HR processes
- Familiarity with MuleSoft and Workday integrations
- Experience leading global teams across time zones
- Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with agile/scrum methodology
Responsibilities
- Hire and retain top engineering talent.
- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers.
- Define project scopes, timelines, and resource requirements with cross-functional teams.
- Drive best practices in software engineering, including Agile methodologies and CI/CD.
- Champion MuleSoft and Workday integration solutions.
- Oversee test automation strategies for Integrations and Workday platforms.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and provide project status updates.
- Occasional travel may be required.
