Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Senior Manager - Engineering Capability & Transformation Leader to drive the Talent & Skills workstream within Engineer 2030. You will shape workforce strategy, lead kaizen-driven transformations, and align engineering capabilities with business goals across the enterprise.

You will partner with Talent Management, HR and business leaders, leveraging AI-enabled analytics to identify skills gaps, plan development, and oversee programs such as Edison.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in STEM with 7+ years in engineering or technical field
• Proven ability to lead structured problem-solving including kaizen events and RCA
• Ability to translate business strategy into workforce capability frameworks and talent pipelines
• Strong data fluency and ability to build workforce intelligence models
• Experience leading without direct authority in a global matrix organization
• Excellent written and verbal communication for executive-level content

Responsibilities

• Lead Engineering Workforce Capability Transformation and advise on skills gaps
• Design and deploy a modernized GE Vernova-level engineering review with the CTO
• Leverage analytics and AI-enabled tools to map skills and plan development
• Collaborate with Talent Management, HR, and business leaders on pipeline strategy
• Lead stakeholder communications and monthly reviews with executive sponsors
