GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Workforce Planning & Operations Leader to drive headcount planning, demand and capacity modeling, and workforce governance across the engineering organization.

The role partners with HR, Finance, and FP&A to deliver data-driven insights, optimize allocation, and support quarterly and annual planning cycles. A strong cross‑functional collaborator with Lean thinking will thrive in this high‑visibility role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or STEM field.
• Minimum 5 years in operations, workforce planning, analytics, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead headcount planning and set workforce targets aligned to budget and priorities.
• Model demand and capacity to guide hiring and resource sharing across engineering.
• Partner with HR, Finance, FP&A to establish operating cadence for planning and decision‑making.
• Develop streamlined processes for headcount reviews, approvals, governance.
• Own workforce dashboards and provide timely insights and trends for decisions.
• Analyze data to identify risks, opportunities and actionable recommendations.
• Support quarterly reviews, annual planning, budgeting, and long-range forecasts.
• Drive data consistency and establish a single source of truth for workforce planning.
• Prepare clear presentations translating data into business insights.
