Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Project Executive to provide leadership across multiple projects nationwide, coordinating with engineering, project controls, finance, and field operations. This role can be fully remote or hybrid with regular in-office presence in San Diego, CA.

The executive will oversee schedules, budgets, change orders, risk management, and client relationships to maximize profitability and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in design or construction of utility or commercial/industrial infrastructure.
• Experience with electrical equipment installation and operation.
• Fundamental knowledge of contract law and project accounting.
• Strong leadership and remote-team management abilities.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Effective written and verbal English communication.
• Proficiency with office practices, procedures and equipment.
• Strong organizational skills and prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of multiple project teams.
• Review and negotiate complex contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Review and approve project schedules, estimates, budgets, and profit margin.
• Make executive decisions on high-cost, high-risk work.
• Oversee change management events with Owners and subs.
• Support business development, estimating and services teams.
• Hire, train, and mentor project team members.
• Develop and enforce project standards and processes.
• Coordinate scheduling, cost control, procurement, and client satisfaction.
• Maintain relationships with Owners, Engineers, and Subcontractors; communicate impacts and preserve rights.
