Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Energy Storage Project Executive to lead multiple solar, storage, and high voltage substation projects nationwide. The role can be fully remote or hybrid with in‑office presence in San Diego, CA.

You will direct project teams, manage contracts, schedules, budgets, and profitability while coordinating with engineering, finance, and field operations. Responsibilities include oversight of project execution, risk management, and billing, with a focus on owner relationships

Qualifications

• Ten+ years in design/construction of utility or industrial projects.
• Direct industry experience with electrical equipment and installation.
• Strong knowledge of contract law and project accounting.
• Proven leadership to coordinate a remote, diverse team.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze, troubleshoot and prioritize problems.
• Clear written and verbal English communication.
• Proficient with office practices and equipment.
• Strong organizational skills to prioritize and coordinate tasks.
• P6 scheduling experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of multiple project teams.
• Review and negotiate complex contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Review and approve project schedules, estimates, budgets, and profit margin.
• Make project level executive decisions on cost and risk.
• Oversee complex change management events with Owners/Subcontractors/regulators.
• Provide support to other departments including business development, estimating, and services.
• Hire, train, and mentor team members for a variety of roles on project teams.
• Support the development of standards and processes to improve the business.
• Work with the project execution team on scheduling, cost control, procurement, and client satisfaction.
